Me and my friends had a delightful stay at Cocovana. Everything is superb--- the place has a peaceful and serene ambiance, clean room, delicious food (we highly recommend their pancakes, tapa, tinola, pizza and curry!!!!) and very accomodating and proactive staff. Sarah, Anna and Tim are such great hosts! They gave us a warm welcome and were always there to assist us. You will definitely feel at home as the hosts will go out of their way to make sure you are looked after! The sunset view is so stunning and relaxing and one of the best sunset views we have experienced. Wifi is fast and we did not encounter any problems at all! We also loved the fact that they have motorbike rentals which gave us the autonomy to explore nearby areas. We also had a refreshing dip in their pool after we played billiards (and sung our favorite songs in their videoke/karaoke!!). The place also offers tours to different islands so everything was easy breezy! We will definitely book again here with my friends. Value for money indeed!
Set on a hill, The Riverhouse offers peaceful accommodation in Coron, surrounded by lush greenery. It operates a 24-hour front desk and features an on-site restaurant.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The views were incredible, the food was the best we've had in the Philippines and the location was perfect for diving/snorkelling with dugongs. There's a private pier that the dugong operator (dugong dive center) picks you up from.
It is out the way from everything else but scooters are cheap to hire (and brought directly to the Riverhouse).
If you like wildlife, it's nice for that too. We saw plenty of birds, lizards and a palawan stink badger!
Lastly, hot water/pressure was fine. Would highly recommend. I'd love to go back one day.

Plenty of activities available such as biking, snorkelling, diving, kayaking and more. My stay was very short (3 Days) and I spent most time in an around the 2 places where I stayed. I ate at the Marina del Sol which was very good as well as Ekhaya Villa which was excellent.

A lovely rural village on the West coast, mangroves and forest all around. A couple of dive operations in the village, three different options of accommodation and friendly people.
Great place to base yourself if you want to explore the island. 30 minutes from airport and 40 minutes from Coron town. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Ann and Mike's guesthouse.
